#GoToReunion bloggers – canyoning an ancient lava flow

  • 01 July 2014 | By Lynnette Johns

The Island of Reunion has had many surprises for our team of nine bloggers, including spending hours in a village where only 30 people live, to today's adventure: canyoning down an ancient lava flow.

Canyoning includes floating, swimming, scrambling and abseiling down a fast-flowing river. One of our bloggers, Mattheew Karsten, tweeted: "Kayaking down waterfalls on Rivier de Roches. Wooooo!"

A few hours later they were checking out street art with Kid Kreol and Boogie
