What’s new at AIR AUSTRAL?

AIR AUSTRAL recently took Reunion Island by storm by introducing innovatively unique pop up agencies.

This new concept known as Contain’air, aims to bring AIR AUSTRAL closer to its clients and the mobile agencies will be parked in different locations on Reunion Island.

In the comfort of these fully air-conditioned containers, clients can try out the new product Extra-couchette on the B777 aircraft and get a taste of the movies on offer on the B777 an B787, or take a 360◦ tour of the cabins with the 3-D glasses on offer.

Internet access is available to make bookings, buy tickets or subscribe to the Capricorne frequent flyer program.

12 October 2017 will see AIR AUSTRAL’s staff members dashingly dressed in designer Olivier Chevalier’s new uniform designs! Each design has been beautifully crafted by Chevalier and produced by the French Maison Balsan.

This will stylish wardrobe change coincides with the re-launch of 2 weekly direct AIR AUSTRAL flights between Reunion and Marseille in code-share with XL Airways, who will operate 1 weekly flight.

The uniform can be described as elegantly understated with a touch of retro flair!

This fabulous design not only brings to life a unique representation of AIR AUSTRAL, but also incorporates Reunion Island’s Piton de la Fournaise, which played the muse to designer Olivier Chevalier.

The colours are a stony grey with delicate touches of bright coral incorporated into the trim and accessories, evoking the timeless basalt rock and the incandescent lava of Reunion Island’s volcanic plains.
