If the French island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean isn’t on your travel radar, then it should be! An island-loving girl at heart, a recent visit to this exotic, volcanic island was filled to the max with epic adventures.
I absolutely loved my Reunion experience for the diversity and the whole French flair it offers, thanks to all that made it possible and I hope to return again soon as well as send loads of business.
The lava tubes for me was the greatest experience i have had the opportunity to enjoy. At first i was apprehencive, but not long and we were mind blown. Reunion has to be the most amazing island to get to
From personal experience, this is the bucketlist island unlike any other. Having had the absolute fortune of the island a number of times, its difficult to list only one of the stand outs - however, the aqua hike does feature amongst the best. Here you walk down a steep gorge, reaching the 'bottom' you are kitted out with a wet suit (the John part of the Farmer John) and a helmet. You then proceed to jump a few (high) meters over a waterfall into the water below. Body river rafting down the rapids from waterfall to waterfall and jumping to the next level as you go. After a few KM's down river you reach the end of the river and make your way to the traditional Maloya restaurant where you dine on local fair. Undoubtably one of the highlights of any trip I've ever taken!!
This is THE FOOD FOR YOUR SOUL island, full of adventure, great food, wonderfully interesting people and jaw-dropping scenery. Its been a very special and favourite island that we have had the privilege to sell for over 25 years and we never tire of her charm and beauty.

I had the privilege to visit only for a day. I loved the different-ness of it. The black volcanic beaches, the moon landscape of the volcano, the beautiful craters and waterfalls all over. I will definitely go back!
